Maika Klages is new the Bend area; she comes to us from Reno, Nevada where she has lived for the past twenty years, and of the twenty years, fifteen of them she has been a licensed insurance agent. Maika grew up in Joseph, Oregon, where most of her relatives still live and enjoys going back to visit. In her spare time she likes to participate in outdoor activities, such as riding ATV’s, hiking, swimming, camping and snow sports. Although this is quite a change from the big city, Maika and her daughter Megan are excited about moving to Bend and making new friends.

An Oregon native originally from Eugene, byway of Portland, Heather and her husband just moved to Bend in June of 2005. Heather has been in the insurance industry since 2001, and has over 10 years experience in Office Administration. They moved to Bend to be as close to the mountain as possible.

Vanessa Julian an Oregon Native has lived in Bend since 1990.  Vanessa started her career in the Insurance Industry in 2000 and holds licenses in both Property & Casualty and Life & Health. She received her CISR designation in 2004 and plans to complete her CIC designation in August of 2008.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her Daughter, hiking, camping, water and snow-skiing.

She is a Bend native, enjoys spending time with her husband Jim, her children Stacy & Travis and her Grandson Mason. In her spare time she likes scrapbookings, sewing, camping, and snowmobiling.

Temple has worked in the insurance industry since 1995 and is currently a personal account representative. She moved to Bend with her family in spring of 2001 from the Willamette Valley. The are enjoying not only the sunshine but the Central Oregon lifestyle. Her favorite activities include spending time with her husband, Jim, and son, Joey, snow skiing, listening to music and watching movies.

She currently works out of the Redmond branch office, as a personal lines customer service representative, prior to working in the insurance industry, she was a floral designer for over three years in Grass Valley, CA. Marc has held an insurance license since July of 2003 and worked in the industry for several years prior. He is an Oregon State University graduate and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He has lived in Bend for 12 years but has been fortunate enough to travel abroad on several occasions. You might find him playing his Breedlove guitar, managing a youth music program at a local church, or spending time with his lovely wife.

Debie is fairly new to the insurance industry. She was raised in Terrebonne, and is the last of ten children.  She has worked most of her life in Bend, where she lives with husband, Steve, and her step-son, Jesse.  When not at work, she enjoys being with her friends and family.

Sonja is a native Oregonian, but only recently moved from the valley to the Bend area to soak up some sun. She comes to us with over 20 years accounting experience. She loves spending time with her husband and two children, camping and playing tennis, and her favorite hobby is spending hours in the kitchen expanding on her degree in the Culinary and Pastry Arts.

Pam has been with Century Insurance since 1996 in the position of receptionist/administrative assistant. She has been a Bend resident since 1994. Pam is married with one son and one grandson living in Maui, which gives her the perfect excuse to visit the island at least once a year. Her interests include concerts, floating the river and travel.

Lauren was born in Papua New Guinea as a missionary kid.  She has a love for traveling and other cultures.  She grew up in Sisters, Oregon for the majority of her life, were she was privileged to attend and graduate from Sisters High School.  She attended OSU for a year, and now lives in Bend.  She just recently got married to her amazing husband.  They enjoy living in Bend, and love the beauty that surrounds it.
